Cognitive (Brain Health) Coaching
Cognitive
(Brain Health) Coaching
Our brains are amazing, constantly helping us communicate, think, learn, and remember information. However, our cognitive-communication skills can start to feel less efficient, resulting from excessive stress, illness, hormonal changes, executive dysfunction, or a clinical brain injury. If you have noticed changes in your cognitive function, such as difficulty thinking of the words you want to say, forgetfulness, or increased distractibility, we are here to help.
Sometimes, our brains can use a bit of additional support for optimizing performance. We are here to assist you with a holistic, evidence-based approach that provides education and practical, tangible strategies to help your brain move from surviving to thriving.

What is Cognitive Coaching?
Individualized, 1:1 brain health support
Cognitive health coaching is personalized, brain-based support that helps you understand how your brain works and how to improve overall cognitive function. We connect neuroscience to real life and the everyday experiences you’re having with attention, memory, organization, decision-making, and follow-through. Together, we translate what’s happening in your brain into practical strategies that help you move beyond simply surviving and into a life that feels more intentional, capable, and sustainable.
What We Address:
Our sessions focus on real-world cognitive support, including:
Practical strategies for attention, planning, organization, and problem-solving
Understanding patterns with memory, word-finding, mental fatigue, and overwhelm
Identifying what’s draining your brain and what helps it recover
Navigating transitions, goals, and new chapters with more clarity and confidence
Advocacy and communication support so you can work effectively with your care team (therapist, physician, or other support professionals)
Cognitive challenges don’t exist in isolation. When areas like sleep, stress, relationships, movement, nutrition, joy and fulfillment, or environment are out of balance, they can directly affect how your brain functions day to day. We will adjust your coaching plan for your unique, specific needs to help your brain begin to thrive.
A Holistic Approach
This is a collaborative, virtual practice where I meet you exactly where you are.
Drawing from my background as a brain injury clinician, I help you make sense of how neurological changes show up in your daily life. Together, we explore how cognitive, emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors intersect to either support or hinder overall cognitive wellness. You are always at the core of this work. My role is to help you build insight, confidence, and a toolkit that supports your long-term neurocognitive wellness.

Brain Injury Survivors – If you have completed cognitive rehabilitation and want to continue a coaching program, we can support your continued needs.

Individuals with Age-Related Cognitive Changes– If you’re noticing your word-finding, memory, and attentional skills are changing as you get older, we can determine if cognitive coaching is the right fit for your needs, or we can support you with a clinical referral.
